Quick question .. I have installed the new verison 1.5 rc1 with mysql being the back ..

But as Im looking in the Configuration.asp .. it still has the Access database stuff there ..

doesnt that counter the SQL stuff .. since Access Jet is limited to 10 connections at most?

Basically what I have run into with ASP-Nuke 1.4 .. is my site is WAY OVERLOAD .. and I keep hitting the Max 10 connections all the time now ...

Im forced now to use MYSQL , which is better .. I need to learn this , but was wondering if I'll still have the same issue ...

Anyone know?

Hi Magi,

There is still ACCESS in the configuration-inc.asp but you do not need to use it.. Asp-Nuke 1.5 will run total on SQL DB, but I have not done full test of mySQL with Asp-Nuke code, only with MS-SQL database, so I can not promise that it will run without problems

I have been full up in work, this is why I have not had time to do more test on Asp-Nuke 1.5SQL.. I with I had.

Asp-Nuke only needs the DB path and the DB ext even when run on mySQL og MSSQL but that is in the Admin/dabase it needs it.

It uses the DBPath to put logfiles, as normaly the DB path/folder allowes for WRITE access from ASP

Ok .. so Ive tried to get it to work on MYSQL .. Forum had many issues

So i then tried on MSSQL .. still to many issues ..

Most of the issues Ive been having is due to the query script / updater files ... none of these are up today with the changes made to the asp files ...

If possible can you provide new MSSQL script file ? or even a MSSQL Dump so i can import that .. !

Originally I started testing the 1.5 version for mysql and it is still running

I had a lot of issues with it which I reported - I never finished the testing but it is still runnning at www.resen2002b.dk 

I havent been looking at it for over a year.

It would be great if we could have an official 1.5 version

I have fixed some stuff .. and managed to get the Forums working to a point...

they work .. but the message # isnt there ..

Ive commented some lines out and put in a On error Resume sort of a line to make the script functional ..
